QUICK SPF SPRAYS

-

Coola Piña Colada Sunscreen Spray SPF30, £22, cultbeauty.co.uk

We say: Not everyone’s a fan of the tropical scent, but we think it’s lovely, and like the quick and invisible protection it gives. It sprays easily, even upside-down, feels very light, and doesn’t leave marks. Expensive, though.

Eucerin Dry Touch Suncream Spray for sensitive Skin SPF50, £16.99, Boots

We say: This is made for sporty types who sweat their suncream off quickly. The water-resistant formula is great if you’re in and out of the pool on holiday, and it feels fresh on the skin. Very speedy to spritz on, and impressively non-chalky for such a high factor.

Vichy Idéal Soleil Solar Protective Water Antioxidant SPF30, £19, lookfantastic.com

We say: We adored the original versions last summer, and this new one with added antioxidants is meant to protect from the sun and improve skin quality. It’s lightweight, non-greasy, sinks in fast, and the mist is ultra fine too.

Garnier Ambre Solaire UV Water Clear Sun Cream Mist SPF50, £14, Boots

We say: Brilliant stuff. It’s so quick to apply, the nozzle means it’s easy to get every spot of skin, and it makes skin soft and silky. It goes on with a cooling feel that’s perfect on a hot day. Kids will approve too, because you can blitz them in record time without any sticky feel.

Solero Invisible Spray SPF30, £7, lloydspharmacy.com

We say: ‘The sell is it’s transparent, has vitamin E and will spray at any angle. We loved it – no white marks, soaked in really quickly, and skin felt soft, not sticky. In fact, once it was on it was like we weren’t wearing anything at all – which may make you apply more of it, so get two bottles!
