BEST OF THE REST

-

HOLD THE SUNSET BBC1, 9pm

AFTER the disastrous open day at the house, Phil has gone missing. Edith recruits Queenie and Sandra to help look for her husband, clearly getting more worried about where he might have disappeared off to.

Meanwhile Roger is busy taking advantage of the empty house, by setting himself up as an unofficial B&B owner, letting out rooms to try and generate some cash. A plan that he knows his mother definitely wouldn’t approve of, so he asks his American guests to pretend they’re old friends.

And he fills up the place even more after meeting and clearly becoming instantly besotted with Bob the Burglar’s odd daughter Georgie, who is down from Scotland to visit her dad in hospital.

THIS new documentary series follows the story of American rapper Meek Mill, who has been embroiled in a 12-yearlong legal battle, and who’s gone on to be a fierce campaigner for reform in the US criminal justice system as the co-founder of REFORM Alliance.

It shows his fight for exoneration – aided by high profile pals like Shawn ‘Jay-Z’ Carter, who also appears and executive produces. Born Robert Rihmeek Williams, Meek was arrested for gun and drug possession when he was a 19-year-old in Philadelphia.

After serving a year in prison, Meek then spent the next 11 years on probation, during which he was frequently re-arrested and sent back to prison for technical probation violations – such as performing a wheelie on a motorcycle while filming a music video.
