■■ Pram and Pushchair sessions, where children can play safely, resume at 1.30pm on Tuesday, September 3, at Albany Road, Baptist Church Hall, Blenheim Road, Cardiff. Play for pre-school tots and tinies, also refreshmen­ts for the little ones and their carers.

■■Sequence dancing takes place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, 7.15pm until 10pm, at Fairwater Social Centre, Finchley Road, near Fairwater Police Station. A great way to meet new friends. £3 each with tea/coffee. Mostly mature people, singles or couples. All welcome.

■■Throughout August, Ely’s latest fun attraction for children, young people and the young at heart, the big Air-venture, will be holding additional bounce sessions. The biggest and best inflatable area in South Wales is ideal indoor fun activity for all ages and is based at Better Western Leisure Centre, Caerau Lane, CF5 5HJ. Hourly sessions will run on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Mondays during the school holidays and every day in the final week of August. ■■Cardiff Ladies Luncheon Club is a ladies’ social club which usually meets on the third Monday of each month at the Hilton Hotel, Cardiff, for lunch, and to listen to guest speakers on a wide variety of subjects. ■■Canton Townswomen­s Guild meets at St Luke’s church hall (opposite Victoria Park) every second and fourth Tuesday of the month between 1.45pm and 4pm.
