Decision time for Sinead

-

SINEAD struggles with her latest round of chemotherapy and announces that if the next one leaves her feeling just as tired and distressed, it will be her last.

She also visits hospices in a bid to find the perfect one in which to spend her final days, despite Daniel revealing he wants to care for her at home.

Daniel is, understandably, struggling to cope with the idea of losing his wife – and of their son Bertie losing his mother at such a young age – and goes on a drinking binge which sees him lash out at the Baileys’ housewarming party.

Thankfully Adam is on hand to lend him a much-needed shoulder to cry on.

Paul is horrified that his mum Bernie is getting back together with her ex-boyfriend Kel, but refuses to disclose what he dislikes about his former stepfather so much.

Billy realises there is something wrong and endeavours to discover what’s going on with his ex.

Meanwhile, Derek takes a

shine to Izzy but is troubled when he learns that Gary is the father of her son.

Elsewhere, Toyah tries to help Ali and footballer James comes to Bethany’s aid when she drops a cup of coffee on the cobbles. His dad and brother later suggest that James ask the waitress out.

Bethany is thrilled at the prospect of a date with a local celebrity and after a drink at the Rovers they head to the Baileys’ to join a surprise party for Ed.

But, when she misreads some signals and leans in for a kiss, James pulls away. What is James hiding?
