The ninja warriors swinging this way!
A NINJA Warrior adventure park is coming to Cardiff.
The venue is based on the hit ITV show Ninja Warrior UK which sees contestants battling a number of obstacles to be crowned champion.
Now Cardiff residents will be able to take on similar challenges, with an adventure park set to open in Grangetown. A licensing application for the adventure park has been submitted to Cardiff council.
The application is to sell alcohol on the premises from midday to 9pm on Monday to Sunday, and for music to be played between 9am to 9pm Monday to Sunday.
The address listed is for a unit on Glynstell Close at Hadfield Road.
A page on the Ninja Warrior UK website also states that the park is “coming soon” to Cardiff.
A number of sites are already open across the UK, with adventure parks in Wigan and Stoke, with another also set to open in Gloucester.
The site in Stoke, the first to open in the UK, features unstable bridges, jungle swings and a bouldering wall – complete with a sprung floor.
And for those after an even bigger challenge there’s another area targeted mostly for teenagers and adults, which features a take on Ninja Warrior’s infamous warped wall.
The Ninja Warrior website says: “As well as being great family entertainment, the show is both inspiring and aspirational, which is why ITV and its partners have created different types of Ninja Warrior UK leisure venues across the UK, all geared to a wide range of ages and abilities.
“All of our family entertainment centres and venues are fun, safe and inclusive, enabling kids, adults, plus entire families and groups of friends, to create their own Ninja Warrior UK journeys and stories.”
