■■ Julie Morgan, the Assembly Member for Cardiff North, is holding a special drop-in session for Cardiff North residents who are experienci­ng problems applying for their new bus pass, at her constituen­cy office 17 Plasnewydd, Whitchurch, Cardiff CF14 1NR on Friday, October 18, from 2pm to 4pm. Transport for Wales staff and Ms Morgan’s staff will attend to give help and guidance. Please bring a copy of present pass (if you already have one) and National Insurance number. ■■St Philip Evans Union of Catholic Mothers are holding a coffee morning on Tuesday, October 22, 10am until noon, at St Philip Evans Church Hall, Llanedeyrn Drive, Llanedeyrn, Cardiff CF23. Tickets £2.50 or pay at the door. Event to include tombola, cakes, Christmas gifts and nearly new stall. Everyone welcome.

■■Llanishen Healthy Hearts will be holding a Musical Extravagan­za with Marlboroug­h Junior School Choir, Canton RFC Choir and the Plough Singers. Join them at St Andrew’s Church, Wellfield Road, Roath, Cardiff, on Friday, October 25, 6.30pm. Tickets are £5, and this includes light refreshmen­ts and a raffle.
