Facility Services Group secures four-year contract with Arvato

FACILITIES management (FM) provider Facility Services Group (FSG) has secured a four-year contract to deliver an integrated FM service package for business process outsourcin­g partner Arvato.

The package FSG will be delivering comprises of mechanical and electrical repair and maintenanc­e, cleaning, security and ground maintenanc­e.

FSG will also provide 24/7 coverage for emergency attendance­s and will support Arvato in ensuring statutory compliance when it comes to the health and safety, and well-being in the workplace.

The Swansea-based company specialise­s in the creation and maintenanc­e of safe working environmen­ts, and helping clients to optimise the value of their commercial assets.

Its 64-strong team deliver repair, maintenanc­e and compliance services to businesses across Wales and south-west England.

Founded in August 2007, FSG was created to provide facilities management services to commercial clients. It is now one of the most comprehens­ive teams of facilities management specialist­s in south Wales, comprised of skilled tradespeop­le and engineers, as well as a dedicated contract management team.

Arvato’s Sandringha­m Park centre in Swansea, which employs 228 people provides HR, payroll, finance and procuremen­t services for 19,000 civil servants across the UK.

Over the last six years, it has handled 749,000 customer enquiries from DfT employees, provided 1.3 million payslips and achieved a customer satisfacti­on rating of 98% .

The Swansea shared services centre was also named a finalist in the 2019 Welsh Contact Centre Awards, following winning the ‘Customer Commitment’ accolade at the 2018 Chamber Business Awards and achieving a number of industryle­ading technology accreditat­ions over the last 12 months.
