The talk follows Ted around the European capitals on his quest for a pint of Guinness. 52 countries later Ted will be recounting his adventures and the characters he met along the way. ■■The Norwegian Church’s Christmas tree lighting event is on Sunday, December 1. For this special 150th anniversary year, Hordaland Fylkeskommune are making a gift of a new living Christmas tree that will be planted outside the church in Cardiff Bay. The ceremony is a free event, open to all and starts at 4.30pm, with children’s lantern procession. Entertainment and drop-in children’s craft activities start from 2pm. Norwegian waffles on sale during the afternoon. The gallery gift shop at the church will be open from 10.30am.
