‘Hey... that’s me when I was just 20!’

The ‘Me at 20’ craze sweeping social media has been providing a bit of light entertainment over the last few days. The trend involves friends, colleagues and family members digging out the photo albums to share their fresh-faced younger selves at 20 years

Looking at these pictures, Dame Shirley Bassey is clearly just as elegant and glamorous now as she was back then. The girl from Tiger Bay was only 20 when she was snapped in 1957 in Cardiff for a week’s top-billing at the New Theatre

The presenter was actually 21 when this picture was taken at her graduation at Aberystwyth University. The One Show presenter graduated from the Department of Theatre, Film and Television Studies in 1998 with a BA in Drama

This snap of Welsh radio presenter Huw Stephens dates back to 2004, when Huw would have been 23. Now he can be found sharing his passion for music on Radio 1

■■Catherine Zeta Jones

This early picture of Catherine Zeta Jones was taken in 1991 on the set of the Darling Buds of May which means she was actually 22 years old. A child star, the Swansea actress starred in the comedy series from 1991 to 1993. And here she is looking just as radiant at an awards ceremony in January 2020
