ABSOLUTE INDIA: MANCS IN MUMBAI ITV, 8pm
TV star brothers Ryan, Adam and Scott Thomas head to Mumbai with their dad Dougie for a trip of a lifetime to explore their Indian heritage.
Of course there’s all the brotherly banter you’d expect, with lots of “Get it down ya, son” over spicy food, but this is also a bit of a Who Do You Think You Are?
Dougie wants to explore the family’s Indian roots as his father grew up there, so they try to trace long lost relatives.
And there’s more emotion than you might expect as they open up about the fact Dougie left the family home when Ryan was 11, and didn’t see him again until he was 16.
Ryan says: “He talks about his dad as a hero, but he disappeared. I haven’t got that hero.” Dougie adds: “I let them down.”
The serious scenes are intercut with plenty of lads on tour misadventures, making this a slightly odd, but fascinating little travelogue.

BBC2, 10pm
BRILLIANTLY touching and as ridiculous as you’d hope, this comedy bows out with the wedding day between Leslie (Spencer Jones) and Jemma (Lucy Pearman).
They are getting married at a beautiful castle in the countryside and everything looks perfect.
All Leslie has to do is get there on time, in his suit, in one piece and not ruin anything. Easy?
Not for Leslie.
Some scenes play out like something from Mr Bean, a hilarious silent sketch – whether it’s Leslie accidentally eating a dog biscuit, chewing it for ages to full comic effect, or trying on his strangely ill-fitting wedding suit, or getting to grips with a jacuzzi bath.
But in parts, it’s surprisingly emotional as Jemma keeps crying and appears to be having a wobble about the whole event.
She’s convinced that Leslie will get into some calamity and ruin the wedding. Can’t think why.
“I’m not a complete idiot,” he pleads. But unfortunately it’s famous last words.
