Lidl looking to open another Cardiff store
LIDL has revealed ambitious plans to open a new store every week for the rest of the year – and is on the lookout for yet another site in Cardiff.
The supermarket giant plans to open 25 new stores across Wales, England and Scotland this year and has announced a £1.3bn investment for 2021 and 2022, which will see 100 additional stores and 4,000 new jobs created.
It said it is looking for sites to open stores in Cardiff city centre, Didsbury and Winchester this year.
Lidl already has eight stores across the capital.
