-

THIS year’s Premier League will resume with six consecutive nights behind closed doors at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes next month before returning to the road in September.

The tournament was curtailed in March after just six nights due to the coronavirus pandemic, but will be back from August 25 in the venue which hosted last week’s Summer Series and the upcoming World Matchplay.

The action then takes place weekly from September 17 in Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle and Sheffield before the playoffs at the O2 Arena in London on October 22, meaning the double-header in Rotterdam and events in Birmingham, Belfast,

Leeds and Berlin will not take place in 2020.

The Professional Darts Corporation also revealed the lineup for the 2021 Premier League, with Brighton returning to host a night after a three-year absence and the play-offs taking place in Berlin.

The 2021 campaign will begin at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena on February 4, before visits to the 3Arena in Dublin and Newcastle’s Utilita Arena.

The Premier League will return to Rotterdam Ahoy for a sixth successive year on February 25, while Judgement Night will take place at The Brighton Centre on April 1 as the tournament revisits the south-coast venue.
