ROLLERCOASTER'S A JURASSIC LARK

PREPARE to race with the swiftest of prehistoric predators as Universal Orlando Resort unveils its extreme new species of ride.

Set to be Florida’s fastest and tallest launch coaster, Jurassic World VelociCoaster will catapult daredevils to speeds of 70mph and 150ft in the air, on a highspeed chase alongside a nimble velociraptor pack.

Opening at Universal’s Islands of Adventure theme park in summer 2021, it will be the world’s first coaster based on the blockbuster franchise, seeing Jurassic World unveil the next evolution of its “carnivore expansion”.

TUI'S TRAVEL PLEDGE

TUI has committed to only flying holidaymakers to places without quarantine restrictions.

As the second wave of coronavirus sweeps across Europe, the destinations available are constantly changing.

As it stands, Tui is offering holidays to parts of Cyprus, Greece, Italy, and Madeira.

However, the company says it soon expects to be able to take customer to 12 more location.

As part of their Holiday Promise, the company says that all bookings up to the end of April 2021 have Covid cover included.

A spokesman said: “This means you can amend your holiday for free if you contract Covid-19 before you travel.

“It’s also got a Holiday Guarantee insurance policy built in.

“This means that if you contract Covid-19 while you’re away, you’re covered for overseas medical assistance, testing costs and a flight home for treatment if required.

“It’s designed for use alongside your usual travel insurance, and is subject to T&Cs.”

Always check the Foreign Office Covid-19 guidance before booking trips abroad, at gov.co.uk. And under local lockdown rules in force across most of South Wales, people cannot currently travel outside the boundary of their local authority area to go on holiday.
