PICK OFTHE DAY

HE Jacksons are on Graham’s show tonight

– no, not those Jacksons.

Hollywood big-hitter Samuel L Jackson and his wife Latanya Richardson Jackson are on hand to talk about the hard-hitting BBC2 documentary series they’ve been working on.

Enslaved: The Lost History of the Translantic Slave Trade, which you can watch currently on BBC iPlayer, tells the story of 400 years of human trafficking and millions of Africans ripped from their homes and sold into the slave trade.

“It is a worthwhile story to tell,” says the Pulp Fiction star.

Also joining Graham tonight is legendary football manager Arsene Wenger, talking about his autobiography My Life In Red And White, which shares his leadership principles and contains vivid tales of guiding Arsenal to success.

He’s not the only sports personality with a book out. Freddie Flintoff, cricketer-turnedTop Gear daredevil presenter, is on hand to discuss his new book Right, Said Fred.

The tome mocks the absurdities of modern life, asking big questions such as: “Does anybody else watch Donald Trump as a guilty pleasure?” and “When social distancing is over, can people still keep their distance?”

Continuing the bookish theme, actress and comedian Dawn French promotes her new novel Because Of You, which tells a big-hearted tale of motherhood.

It follows two very different women who give birth to two very similar daughters in the same hospital.

There’s also music from recent Mercury Prize winner Michael Kiwanuka, who performs his current single Light.
