WEBCHAT Cardiff council scraps ice skating attraction due to coronavirus

-

Such sad times we are living in! I just went to the supermarket and on my way people were moving so we didn’t get too close as we passed. They were doing the right thing, but it makes you feel like a leper or something doesn’t it? Jill Huntington

So sad, some people’s anxieties!! It’s not the illness, it’s not the bubonic plague. The majority of people will have mild to moderate symptoms, if any. The contagion rate is ridiculous and there is a minority of the population that will struggle and more likely die. Two metres, wash your hands and try not to touch your face. Masks where needed but be careful as your hands are near your face! Help protect the minority.

Was it just me, but I couldn’t understand how they were having this sort of thing anyway = ice, skates = possible injury, meaning someone will have to help them up and some A&E admissions. Emma Morris

Shouldn’t be a massive surprise to anyone, it sounded like an idiotic idea when they announced it.

Beth Phillips

I just hope next year that people can have some enjoyment. Gemma Sarah John

Should have really done their research before wasting all that time and money.

Mark Morgan

I’ve had the virus so know how frightening it is so I would rather stay in and be safe and well. Karen Coles

Awww I was so looking forward to it.

Joey Jo Jo Montrose

Think it’s the right decision. With luck we will all be here ready for next year. Better to be safe. Dawn Roberts

It will only disappoint those who suffer from lack of common sense. Carina Domingues
