What’s the team news?
Cardiff City will be without three key players for today’s clash. It was confirmed this week that Lee Tomlin will be out for months after undergoing surgery on his groin, while Jordi Osei-Tutu will be missing for at least another four weeks with his hamstring issue.
Greg Cunningham is back training and progressing well following his own hamstring issue, but this weekend will be too soon for his return.
Isaac Vassell is also still absent as a long-term injury continues to take its toll.
For today’s hosts, on loan Tottenham striker Troy Parrott is in line to make his Championship debut after suffering injury strife with his ankle at the beginning of his time at The Den.
Shane Ferguson is thought to be a doubt for the south Londoners, having been taken off early with a back injury in Northern Ireland’s defeat by Austria.

“I’ve not spoken to Chopper [Neil Harris] for a while but that’s just because we’re all so busy trying to navigate through what is a very different season.
“I suppose you’d have to ask him whether he’s happy coming back with no fans there or whether he’d prefer they were there, I’m sure they’d give him a very good reception.
“It probably won’t feel quite so weird for him coming back in a quiet stadium.
“It won’t feel like he’s come back to The Den properly.
“It’s always a strange one when a manager has got such affinity with a club, a warmth for the club, when he comes back with a different club.
“I think that’s going to be an interesting one for him.
“But of course he’ll want to win the game for his current club, and we want to win the game ourselves.”
Cardiff City manager Neil Harris:
“I enjoyed my time at the club. I enjoyed it as a player, coach and manager. I was there almost five years putting foundations in place. “Gary has taken over and done an amazing job.
“It’s not easy working with other people’s players but I like to think I left him with a good core group of players. But that chapter of my life has gone and I have enough to focus on now at Cardiff City.”
