WEBCHAT ‘Visitor pods’ set up at care homes so families can see relatives at Christmas

- Mark Richards

What a wonderful idea, brought tears to my eyes. Well done to who ever thought about it. Sheila Ball

Anything that works... it’s cruel and frightening that so many in care have had no close contact with their loved ones for so long. No-one wants the infection in care homes, we’ve seen the carnage it can cause.

Kath Wilson

We are getting closer to becoming caged animals it seems.

Nathan Bright

This is all very well but what about the elderly residents that are mostly in bed and too difficult to hoist them into a wheelchair?

Pearl McCarthy

I really don’t care just as long as I can see my much loved mother again.

Helen Charles

Remember those dystopian films and novels...

Philip Jones

But they will let TV crews in to interview the people living there but not the relatives. Couldn’t believe it the other day, saw BBC crew interviewing an old lady asking her how she felt her loved ones couldn’t see her. The question the report should have asked is why the hell is the BBC sat with me and not my family? John Sultana

This is so wrong on so many levels.

Alexandra Davies

Where can you get one? I’d love one to meet my family and friends in my garden.

Julie Todd

Like a zoo! What is happening to common sense and reason, why are the Government following false hyped-up SAGE advice and not immunologists and virologists’ advice?

Yola Wilson

So this will be very similar to prison visiting. Clear screens between you and speaking via an intercom. This is simply unacceptable. Homes in England have been promised two tests per week for each visitor so that you can visit as normal. We deserve the same in Wales.
