Valuable lesson from US election

-

THE US election carries a valuable lesson for British adults who intend their votes to have moral principle.

The simplistic, two political parties of the USA, is a crippled form of democracy, where 200 million adults have to squeeze their different, sincere beliefs, into one of two dominant parties.

They all know that the money donated to deceitful advertising, will so influence the outcome, that it becomes an electoral fact, “money buys votes”.

There is a great similarity between the beliefs and policies of US Republican Party and UK Conservative Party, but it is the Republican attack on the Democratic Party politicians, such as Joe Biden, which tells you most clearly, the nature of the US Republican Party.

To them, Biden is a hated socialist, and a communist, and also a repulsive liberal.

Any dictionary will inform a child about the clear distinctions between these separate forms of politics, favoured by different sincere people in truly democratic countries.

It is not possible for Joe to hold all these different political beliefs, and the real truth, is that he holds none of them.

The electoral success of the Republican Party has been wholly dependent upon widespread ignorance combined to malicious dishonesty, at different levels within the party, of cunning manipulation of the stupid by the ambitious, and gross bigotry which never studied other beliefs.

These were the emotional factors which allowed Donald Trump to extend the party to mindless populism of hatred, racism and rejection of civilized values, to create a period of personality dictatorship.

The monster has bred 70 million think a likes, who will not go back into his cage.
