I thought the current figures show we’re at the lowest cases, hospitalisations and deaths since the start 12 months ago and the data shows we should be in at worst level 2 and more realistically level 1 by now.

Not enough small businesses have been decimated yet, so they will drag it out until they all go bust.

It’s going to be very difficult to keep cases below 50 per 100k even if everyone complies. Unless we want perpetual lockdowns, we’re going to have to accept higher cases and hope the vaccines keep people out of hospital.
