Port Talbot Town bore the brunt of Llantwit Major’s displeasure at losing their unbeaten record in the JD Cymru South the previous weekend as they were hit for six.

Cullen Kinsella and Josh Morgan both scored twice for the home side and Tom Walters was again on the scoresheet. That took his tally for the season to 14.

The other Llantwit goal came from Sean Williams and victory ensured they stayed top, a point ahead the team that beat them a week earlier, Pontypridd Town.

Pontypridd held on to their unbeaten record as they bounced back from their Nathaniel MG Cup exit earlier in the week to win 1-0 at Goytre United thanks to a strike 18 minutes from time by Aiden Lewis.

Liam Thomas scored twice for Carmarthen Town as they stretched their unbeaten run to four games with a 4-0 win over Afan Lido. Briton Ferry Llansawel secured a 5-0 win over Taffs Well.

They scored three times in seven minutes, Corey Hurford getting two of them. Joe Hunt, Tyler Brock and Luke Bowen also struck.

Cambrian & Clydach Vale also handed out a 5-0 drubbing to Risca United. An own goal from Ryan Wheeler started the rout before Jarrad Wright, Ryan Pross (2), and Camillo Strinati completed the job.

A hat-trick from Gareth Evans inspired Llandudno to a 3-0 win over 10-man Prestatyn Town in JD Cymru North.

Evans broke the deadlock seven minutes before half-time and two quickfire goals in the space of nine minutes ensured they sealed their ninth straight league win to maintain pressure on the top two.

There was a seven-goal thriller at Colwyn Bay where the home side secured a 4-3 win over Holyhead Hotspur to move ahead of them in the table.

The home side struck two goals in 11 minutes in the first half, but saw their lead wiped out when Dylan Summer-Jones and Jay Gibbs both netted. But goals from James Kirby and Joseph Williams either side of half-time restored the home side’s two-goal lead.

Liam Morris scored a third for the visitors but Colwyn Bay held on.

There was also a high-scoring game at the Memorial Playing Field as Holywell Town overcame Ruthin Town 3-2.

Oliver Buckley, Daniel Andrews and Jake Cooke were on target for the visitors, while Jamie Cumming and Charlie Williams netted for Ruthin.

Gresford Athletic came from two goals down against Conwy Borough to salvage a point in a 2-2 draw.
