City on menopause bus route

-

THIS Morning’s menopause bus is heading to Cardiff to raise awareness and share information about menopause. And among the guests on the bus will be TV host Carol Vorderman.

Cardiff is one of the stops on the bus’ route around the UK, with Birmingham, Liverpool and London also hosting the bus. Additional menopause support will be available on This Morning and Boots’ social and digital channels.

A live This Morning segment will be broadcast from the bus in Mermaid Quay before its doors open to the public. People experiencing the menopause will be invited on board to speak confidentially to experts about symptoms and methods of management.

Martin Frizell, This Morning editor, said: “This Morning takes great pride in what support and advice we offer to our viewers and for this bus to not only raise awareness on its travels it will be helping so many with the advice it can offer across the nation too.

“I’m hugely proud of the team involved and thankful to Boots for supporting this important campaign too.”

The This Morning and Boots Menopause Bus will be at Mermaid

Quay today between 10am and 2pm as part of the ‘This Morning Takes on the Menopause’ campaign.

The bus will be packed with information and experts to help people manage menopause symptoms, as well as raise awareness of the condition which affects over 50% of the UK population.

This Morning medics Dr Philippa Kaye and Dr Larisa Corda will be joined by Welsh presenter Carol Vorderman to support the campaign.

Those on board will include health and wellness experts from the Menopause Charity, a Boots pharmacist and a No7 Beauty adviser. There will also be leaflets with information and insight on the menopause.
