YOUR VIEWS ON: LATEST ON VIRUS CASES ACROSS SWANSEA

-

A rise in coronavirus cases has come down in Swansea, says council leader. Here’s what you said . . .

TONY SHARPE To be fair the vast majority of students I’ve had to deal with have been great. MARGARET GAYLOR It isn’t just the students we have seen elderly, middle aged and young people not wearing masks and not keeping to the two-metre rule, but it has started back up with pubs, schools and universities opening up and all the demonstrations so it’s in there somewhere. Why can’t we all stick to the rules? STEVE BUXTON I personally think none of these lockdowns are going to help, it’s just going to be a see-saw effect. We are going to have to learn to live with this. Even though I do follow the rules, this lockdown doesn’t really bother me, it’s just a slight inconvenience. MARTIN MARV EDWARDS We should all be playing our part. I see many people in supermarkets, mask below nose, pointless. Public transport the same. I drive a cab: no mask, no ride; as simple as that. ANGIE PARKER My daughter is at uni there, her and her household are following the guidelines. When I dropped her off, we went for lunch at the Potters where I was harassed and abused by a Welsh lady because I was wearing a mask. Believe me I am more worried about my daughter being in a town where people refuse to follow the rules and abuse those that do, than you are about students being there. KAREN HARRIS Everyone has to play their part, not be selfish.
