The Sky Blues will also be without Tyler Walker who is in isolation after testing positive for coronavirus.

Fankaty Dabo missed his side’s clash with Brentford last time out, with Coventry sweating on his fitness ahead of the visit of Swansea.

Youngster Will Bapaga is continuing to recover from a shoulder injury, while Julien Dacosta, Jodi Jones and Wes Jobello are unavailable.

As for the visitors, George Byers remains unavailable as he continues his recovery from a groin problem.

Morgan Gibbs-white is also sidelined as a result of the foot injury he sustained late in the 2-1 triumph over Millwall earlier this month.

But three of Swansea’s four transfer deadline-day signings will be available to face the Sky Blues.

Kasey Palmer is in contention having come on as a late substitute against Huddersfield Town, while Ryan Manning and Ryan Bennett are now available.

Joel Latibeaudiere is expected to miss out as he recovers from a slight injury following his move to South

Wales from Manchester City. What has the manager said? Steve Cooper: “Iwatched them a lot over the international break because the games come thick and fast, so we’re trying to get our work done by preparing for a lot of games.

“They play with a good style and an intricate formation. They’ve been on the telly a few times, and I think they’ve shown that they’re more than able to at least compete at this level, and do more.

“I think they’re going to cause a lot of damage in games. We know every game in this league is tough.

“I think it’s about us back to being us. I think a big focus will have to be back on ourselves, going away from home and making sure we get back on a winning run.”
