New finance head as firm looks to expand

-

TELECOMS company Saecom has announced significant growth over a 24-month period, having helped businesses up and down the land adapt to remote working during the pandemic.

As a leading UK provider of B2B communications services, Saecom was already seeing an increased demand for its best-in-class offerings.

But as offices closed their doors, the company’s VOIP specialists and hosted cloud offering came to the rescue of those suddenly in need of seamless remote collaboration through video meetings, screensharing and more.

The Swansea-based company now plans to capitalise on this momentum under the direction of newly promoted Amy Evans, who has been appointed Saecom’s finance director. She came on board the family business six years ago and now joins her father, managing director Stephen Evans, as the company looks forward to further growth.

“It’s been a fast-moving six years with the business, from new customers coming on board to my personal finance training during the evenings,” Amy said. “However, over the past 12 months, we’ve seen huge growth through our cloud telephony by simply listening to customer needs and identifying the right solution.

“I’m extremely proud to be promoted to a company director.”

Saecom’s aspirations include adding an additional eight members of staff over the next two years across sales, technical, engineering and finance teams.

The first position they will be recruiting for is in sales and are already on the lookout for a tenacious and ambitious individual who’s ready to join a fast-growing team.

As telecoms rivals are acquired or downsize their own teams, Saecom is on a growth mission. And with its competitive pricing and open, honest customer policies, it’s perfectly placed to go from strength to strength in 2021 and beyond.
