MAN KILLED ONE SERIOUSLY HURT IN COLLISION

A 46-YEAR-OLD man has died and another man is in hospital with life-threatenin­g injuries following a serious crash in the early hours of Saturday in Swansea.

The crash took place at the junction of Graiglwyd Road and Townhill Road at roughly 12.40am on Saturday. The injured man was being treated at the University Hospital of Wales.

A 46-YEAR-OLD man has died and another man is in hospital with lifethreat­ening injuries following a serious crash in the early hours of Saturday in Swansea.

The crash took place at the junction of Graiglwyd Road and Townhill Road at approximat­ely 12.40am on Saturday, and it saw roads closed in both directions on Saturday morning, before they later reopened.

A spokesman for South Wales Police said: “We are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to the serious road traffic collision that occurred at the junction of Graiglwydd Road and Townhill Road, Swansea, at approximat­ely 12.40am on Saturday.

“A 46-year-old man from the Mayhill area of Swansea died as a result of the collision. Another man is being treated at the University Hospital of Wales with what are described as life-threatenin­g injuries.

“We thank local residents and businesses for their patience and understand­ing whilst the road was closed for investigat­ion work to be carried out.

“Anyone who has any informatio­n concerning this collision or who may have any dashcam footage is kindly requested to contact the serious collision investigat­ion unit quoting reference number 2100151541.”
