It is important to bear in mind that this data is very volatile because it covers smaller areas.

Where an area has a very small population even one positive case can push up the cases per 100,000 significantly.

You should therefore be cautious about drawing too many conclusions directly from the information.

For example, in Newport, Shaftesbury and Crindau and Victoria and Somerton have similar numbers of cases at eight and six respectively. However, in terms of cases per 100,000 of population, Shaftesbury and Crindai has 118 but Victoria and Somerton has only 51. This because Victoria and Somerton has a higher population than Shaftesbury and Crindai.
