Comedian joins stars in city

SWANSEA is set to have some big star names gracing the stage across the city during 2021.

Names like Olly Murs, Foals, and Catfish & The Bottlemen are among the well-publicised star attraction­s that many are looking forward to seeing in the months ahead – if all goes to plan.

Many more are also looking forward to seeing the likes of Martin Kemp and Newton Faulkner at the Patti Pavilion, and Jimmy Carr at the Grand Theatre. From

the worlds of comedy, music, boxing, Ibiza and even outer space, there’s some huge names who have Swansea firmly etched into their calendars. Here’s who is making their way to Swansea . . . ■ The popular Scouse comedian is set to perform at the Grand Theatre on Thursday, September 9 at 8pm in a warm-up show ahead of his new tour. The astronaut will be reliving his epic and thrilling out-of-this-world journey into space when he appears at the Brangwyn Hall on November 16.

Internet sensation saxophonis­t Lovely Laura and prolific Ibiza DJ Ben Santiago are set to perform in Swansea on Saturday, November 27.
