THE nights are drawing in and the weather has started to turn darker and gloomier – but an epic drinks festival is sure to brighten up autumn.

The Prosecco Festival launched in Swansea in 2017 and is now well known across the UK, with annual events in towns and cities across Wales and England.

After being forced to reschedule during the pandemic, the festival is back in Swansea next month and bigger than ever.

Prosecco fans will be spoilt for choice, with the UK’S “largest selection of fizz available by the glass,” whilst a diverse menu of gin, flavoured gin and ‘fizzy cocktails’ will also be available at the event at the Brangwyn Hall.

Alongside an array of beverages, guests will also enjoy live music performances, nibbles, snacks and a hot food stand serving Italian-inspired street food.

The festival is hosting two events at the Brangwyn on Saturday, November 13. The 12pm to 5pm session has already sold out, but there are tickets available for the evening event, running from 6.30pm to 11pm.

What happens at the Prosecco Festival?

The festival will give bubble lovers a chance to sample more than 30 types of Prosecco, Cava, Pink Fizz and ‘Prosecco cocktails,’ as well as a range of gins and Italian beers.

A band will be performing throughout the event and there will be a dance floor.

Each guest will be given a Prosecco Festival-branded flute to fill up at their chosen Prosecco stalls and bars.

Bars will be taking tokens (purchased at the venue with cash or card) and guests can purchase as many different drinks as they would like.

Tickets are currently available for £11.50 (Early Bird Offer - plus 86p booking fee), or you can purchase a VIP ticket for £36.50 (plus £2.74 booking fee).
