A Swansea-based company is marking its second decade by creating a batch of new jobs.

Andrew D’auria Solutions (ADS) also recently opened a branch in Cwmbran and now covers the whole of Wales as its expansion continues.

The company provides a wide range of building, heating, plumbing, mechanical and electrical services to private clients and large organisations.

It already has more than 60 employees on its books, and last spring signalled its intention to increase the workforce to nearer the 100 mark in the next year.

Now the first stream of those jobs is being created as the company continues to expand on the back of winning major new contracts.

“In the current climate people are losing their jobs, so when I can hire more people, it feels absolutely fantastic,” said managing director Andrew D’auria. “It does make me proud that I can create jobs in Wales.”

Vacancies are now available for the following operatives, who must be experienced:

Electrical engineers, qualified multi-skilled operatives, rewire subcontractors, gas service/ repair engineers.

There is certainly a family feel to ADS, and that’s not surprising really, as Andrew explained.

“Our team members include my brothers, nieces, nephews and cousins – and our whole team feels like one big family,” he said.

“We are pleased to be creating these new jobs as our client base grows, especially as we continue to win big contracts.”

They include all commercial, electrical, and mechanical work for Swansea, Carmarthen, and Neath Port Talbot councils, covering everything from schools and nursing homes to leisure centres.

ADS also has a close connection with Pobl, the largest social housing provider in Wales, covering everything electrical in all its domestic and commercial buildings. Since its formation in 2010, the company has also worked as a sub-contractor delivering the Welsh Government’s warm home Nest scheme.

As the company grows, so it adds to its offering, its work for the Church in Wales being a case in point. That started out with a focus on heating and plumbing and has now expanded to include building maintenance.

“Everything we do is driven by our focus on quality, and customer feedback regularly mentions how polite, tidy and helpful our team are,” said Andrew. “We are looking for new team members who take real pride in their work and share our commitment to customer service and quality. As we continue to grow, we maintain our family feel and our intense focus on delivering a first-class service.”

ADS is always looking for talented people to join its growing team, and if you feel you can bring something special to the company, there are a number of ways to get in touch.
