Judges are rapt as Dinomania is BGT hit

DINOMANIA really hit Britain’s Got Talent at the weekend as the judges were left shocked by the dancing dinosaurs from South Wales.

Following in the footsteps of previous contestant, Dario the Dinosaur, Chris Roberts left David Walliams, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Simon Cowell stunned with his bizarre but brilliant dance act.

Chris, 41, is probably the first person to bring out a spinosaurus, a T-rex and two raptors on to the BGT stage. The group went on to dance to Psy’s Gangnam Style as well as the Cha Cha Slide.

All of the judges seemed amazed at the dance, but it all got too much for Alesha, who buzzed when the fourth dinosaur was brought out.

Simon loved the act so much he gave Chris and his dinos a standing ovation. He said: “I think the idea of a dance group with dinosaurs is brilliant.” Alesha, however, said: “It’s not quite Jurassic Park.”

While Alisha wasn’t a fan, Ranger Chris, from the Swansea area, got three yeses from the other judges, seeing him safely though to the next round of the competition.

According to Dinomania’s website, Chris started Dinomania in 2015 “with the dream of making children’s dreams come true” and they are based in Swansea. His favourite dinosaur is the Spinosaurus and he loved how it would swim around hunting for its favourite food Sawfish.

Viewers were equally enthusiastic about the act. They took to social media to praise Ranger Chris and his dinos. Marie said: “What the hell is wrong with that Alisha? This act was great.” Nathan added: “Absolutely loved that, one of my favourite acts”, and user Confidentqueengenny said: “Must say my highlight so far today, loved them, got me laughing so much LOL”.

Britain’s Got Talent airs at 8pm every Saturday on ITV1.
