LAUGH Out Loud Comedy returns with headliner Duncan Oakley. With musical skills that would easily fit into many rock bands, Duncan performs an infectious mix of musical comedy and stand up that has seen him become one of the leading headliners in the business.
He’s been a musician since the age of six, has performed on the UK comedy circuit since 1999, appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, on BBC Radio 4 and at many summer festivals as well as starring in Beat24’s feature film ‘Frontman’ and short film ‘Read Between the Signs’.
With an eye and ear for the silly, rude, playful and downright irritating occurrences of life, Duncan musters up songs that not only make you laugh, they burrow into the recesses of your mind and find you humming a tune with a smile on your face three days later, confused and wondering where it’s come from.
Duncan is joined by Mike Wilkinson, a long time pal and comedy colleague of Peter Kay. Full to the brim with down-toearth Northern charm, Mike takes a bemused glance at the world and then throws it a smile. The laughs come thick and fast with his dry humour and razor-sharp wit.
Also on the bill is Craig Deeley who has that special everyman charm with a dash of the X factor. The twinkle in his eye and his witty anecdotes make him a favourite with all types from the kids to the grannies.
His gifts on stage have been accompanied by a cult following on Twitter – a sign of his neverending ability to generate cutting edge one-liners.
