MEMBERS of Liverpool Dyslexia Innovators group celebrated winning silver.

Pathways to Dyslexia was designed by the Liverpool Dyslexia Innovators group to raise awareness about the condition and the benefits that diagnosis can bring.

The garden showcased the talents of dyslexic landscape gardener Collin Abram.

The Liverpool Dyslexia Innovators group is a wellbeing project that was started by clients who attend the Dyslexia Foundation at the Albert Dock and who wanted more support and engagement with other dyslexic, dyspraxic and dyscalculia members.

Steve O’Brien, chief executive officer of the Dyslexia Foundation, was delighted at the group’s silver success.

He said: “Thanks to my staff for the work they put in with the Dyslexia Innovators who’ve committed time, effort and creativity to create an inspiring garden.

“Six months of work has come to fruition with an amazing result.

“A special mention to Ian Lowe and, in particular, Collin Abram, who has had the vision and drive to start and finish this project.”

As well as promoting the Innovators group and the Dyslexia Foundation, the garden offered the chance for people to find out more about the foundation’s free dyslexia screening, wellbeing support and details of how to join the group.
