DESIGNER store Flannels rolled out the red carpet and celebrated in style with a VIP launch party.

The glittering guest list included local celebrity and former Big Brother housemate Alex Cannon, pillars of the local business community and Southport FC footballers.

Each guest was given an envelope on arrival, with one lucky guest finding enclosed a gift card and personal shopping experience worth £1,000.

The luxury retailer, whose new shop is situated on Tulketh Street, treated guests to a night of music, food and drinks showcasing brands such as Stone Island, CP Com- pany, Three Giuseppe Zanotti many more.

Flannels marketing manager Jenna Triscott said: “It’s fantastic to see so many people here supporting our opening night.

“We’re really excited and proud to be part of the Southport retail landscape offering the area the best shopping and luxury fashion experience.”

Alex Cannon said “I loved the event, the vibe was spot on, drinks were flowing and the grub was lovely! Plus I love my trainers so I was like a kid in a sweet shop!”

Capital FM’s DJ Anton Powers provided the tunes and local boutique hotel The Vincent served up tasty canapés which were accompanied by mini bottles of Moet Floor, and champagne.

Exclusive cocktails including Flannels Fizz and Southport Sours, were poured by local mixologists from The Cellar Bar.

The 13,000 square foot store boasts a clean, contemporary design, which represents the retailer’s strong aesthetic and design concept.
