BOOKINGS are now being taken for the Starkidz’ Christmas Elves. Now in their sixth year, the elves have proven extremely popular so far with nearly 500 bookings for the elf garden visits in each of the past two years.

The elves are also offering an Elf and Safety Check service and Elf Parties this year.

The Elf and Safety service costs from £60 and involves an elf and safety check on the house, stories, songs, lots of mischief and a full naughty and nice check on members of the household.

Elf Parties, as well as visits to schools, nurseries and playgroups, are also available and include a visit from Rudolph.

The company is based in Southport but visits all around the North West if there are a suitable number of bookings.

A spokesman said: “To book in we will be taking your address and a deposit of £2. We will then create route plans and give you a couple of options of dates and times we are in your area.

“Last year we had just under 500 bookings so we ask for your patience in sorting the route plans. If you have a particular time or date in mind we do try our very best to accommodate this.

“Southport and surrounding areas are always our busiest routes, but we do travel too. If we don’t get many enquires for your area it’s good for you to spread the word and help us. We need a minimum of five bookings in each area to make it worth our while and keep our prices low for you.

“This will be our sixth year of elf visits, we were the first in the UK to provide this fun, crazy and very magical idea.

“We know that Christmas is an expensive time and we want to provide magic for as many people as possible. This year unfortunately we have had to raise the visits to £17, this is due to petrol, insurances, cover costs etc. We hope you understand.

“We don’t do this to make money, we love to spread Christmas cheer and it’s our way of saying thank you for all the support you have given Starkidz in the year. The £17 includes treats left around the garden for the children.

“As Christmas Eve was so busy last year we have decided to make this £20 to try and calm it down a little as we had some extremely tired and overloaded elves last year. Again, we hope you understand.”
