TICKETS are now on sale for the second Southport Service Industry Ball.

The event will be held on Monday, January 30, for everyone emplyed in our town’s bars, restaurants, shops and hotels, who are busy working in the run-up and during Christmas and the New Year.

It is being organised by Paul Drewery and Chantelle Latham, owners of Bar Humbug in Southport town centre, and Having A Ball Events.

It follows the huge success of the first Southport Service Industry Ball, which was held in January this year.

Paul Drewery said: “It was an amazing night at the 2016 ball. Pretty much everyone who went in January has rebooked again so we have had to go bigger, with the Southport Theatre and Conference Centre.

“People can enjoy a three-course Black Tie Dinner, entertainment from the fantastic Steve Charles, a raffle for the Southport Community Links Foundation, some surprise parlour games and a photo booth for the night, along with DJ Woz Rimmer entertaining everyone afterwards.

“Tickets are £35 per head. It’s the perfect excuse for the staff Christmas party for anyone in the hospitality, leisure and retail industries of Southport.

“We are also looking for donations of prizes towards the Community Link Foundation raffle.

“We had a great response last year, with over 25 different businesses donating some amazing prizes.

“For tickets and donations, either email myself or Chantelle at info@havingaballevents.com or phone 07808 180889.”
