Elite show is OFF - but only for now
DUE to unforeseen circumstances, the Elite Fighting Championships 13 have been postponed until December 2.
Unfortunately a number of fighters have pulled out that has damaged the fight card to the point where making this Sunday’s show would not be to of an acceptable high standard, therefore Elite will be co-promoting with the Fisticuffs and Cufflinks White Collar boxing event at the Southport Floral Hall on Friday, December 2.
The Elite Fighting Championships will run the second half of the event and the ISKA World Championship bout between Kevin Ward and Aidan Brooks will still be the main event.
If any coaches and fighters had confirmed a fight on Sunday’s show, Elite apologise for the inconvenience this may have caused, and all the hard work put in is much appreciated.
If you still wish to fight on the show at the new proposed date, your fight will remain on the card.
Get in touch with Phil Barton or matchmaker Jake Barton to confirm your fight can be moved.
Elite will be looking to rematch those fighters who have had their opponents pull out.
A huge thank you to Paul Hennessy and the ISKA Officials for their support in re-scheduling the event, remaining as professional as ever.
As for fight fans, your tickets will remain valid for this event (however if you are unavailable to attend and require a refund please get in touch) and Elite have confirmed with the majority of the VIP tables that they are happy with the move to this date.
Thank you once again for your brilliant support, and appreciate you all buying tickets for Sunday’s event, however there ain’t no show without punch!
Elite would like to notify everyone that the next event will be in April 2017 and expect this one to run as successfully as the previous 12 shows have, providing top class Muay Thai & K-1.
Elite will be beginning the matchmaking for this show now, so forward your names if available. More details to follow.
Finally, Elite would like to thank all involved for their optimism and professionalism for moving this show forward and helping to provide what will be a notable event on December 2 at the Floral Hall.
Big thanks for the Fisticuffs and Cufflinks promoters Baz Todd and Matt Bell for making it possible for both shows to co-promote which has been productive for both promotions.
