VIP guests gathered to enjoy the grand opening of a stylish new bar in Ainsdale. Tipple, a friendly and inviting new wine bar, has opened at 42 Station Road in Ainsdale village.

The new venue serves a range of fine wines, ales and lagers, spirits, cocktails, speciality coffees and much more.

Guests gathered for a VIP launch nightg last Thursdayy before the bar opened to members of the public on Friday.

The owners have stripped out the bar to find the original timber and ornate windows which fit in with the rustic, traditional theme they are hoping to create.

There’s also a railway sleeper suspended above the bar with lightbulbs hanging from it.

John Hunter, one of the bar owners, said that they are delighted with the feedback they have received so far.

John, a former Ainsdale Hope High School pupil, added that they a are looking forward to help attract m more people to the area.

He said: “The launch night went r really well.

“It’s been really, really positive so far. There was a lot of interest in the build-up and everyone seemed to have a great time.

“The feedback was really positive so we couldn’t be happier.

“We’re looking forward to being part of the community with all the other shops and bars around.

“Ainsdale nightlife is on the up and we’re not trying to take business from the other bars, but support them and bring more people into the area.”

The new menu will include light refreshments such as cakes and hot drinks in the day with a selection of wines, drinks and light snacks such as cold meats and cheeses in the evening.
