HAPPY New Year! As we enter 2017 everyone at Community Link Foundation is looking forward to everything that the year ahead has in store.

We had a good year of fundraising in 2016 thanks to the support of people and organisations from across the area and we are now hoping to build on that success.

We would love even more people to join in with the fundraising in 2017 which will enable us to distribute more money locally.

The Community Link Foundation is a charity with a difference; we raise money that is then given to people and organisations who apply to us for grants that they need for a whole range of reasons.

In 2016 we gave out thousands of pounds raised by people in the area, and in the next 12 months we would like to be able to give out even more.

Community Link Foundation covers Southport, Formby, Ormskirk, Ainsdale, Burscough, Hesketh Bank, Rufford, Banks and the areas in between.

Maybe your workplace is looking for a charity to support in the coming year, or maybe you are thinking of an event that you are going to organise and you would like the money to go to someone locally.

If this is the case then there is plenty of information on our website of ideas for fundraising activities and how to get sponsorship.

And we would be there to support you with planning the event too.

We’d love to hear from you and see how we can work together to help people in 2017.
