PLASTERSINE Performing Arts Company will be holding open auditions this month for its new production.
The company is going to bring Legally Blonde: The Musical to The Atkinson this summer, and is on the look-out for talented young performers to take to the stage.
Open auditions are being held in West Lancashire on January 28 and 29.
You must be aged between 10 and 23 to register and live in the North West.
Legally Blonde tells the story of Elle Woods, a young sorority girl who attempts to win back her ex-boyfriend by studying for a law degree.
Plastersine’s production of Legally Blonde is part of a long list of shows over the past two years.
The company has put on productions including Grease, Les Miserables and Seussical.
Charlotte Gelhardt, a long-serving member of the company, told me about how the shows and performers have developed.
She said: “Each show has got bigger and better. From performing in schools to now performing in a professional and acclaimed theatre, just goes to show how far the company has come over the past two years.”
The show will also be helping raise awareness for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Legally Blonde: The Musical will be at The Atkinson from August 31 to September 2.
