Southport Visiter

An event for all seasons rerun ...

-

A UNIQUE winter Southport event has proved so popular there’ll be one this summer, too.

Around 350 people packed into Southport Theatre and Convention Centre in January for the second Southport Service Industry Ball.

The event, organised by husband and wife Paul and Chantelle Drewery, through their Having A Ball events company, is held for those who work in Southport’s pubs, bars, hotels and restaurants - a chance to let their hair down.

Having A Ball events has this week announced plans to recreate the event in July.

Paul told Visiter.co.uk: “We’re so excited to announce the Southport Summer Masquerade Ball 2017. The event follows our huge success of the Service Industry Ball and will be held at the Royal Clifton hotel.

“The ball is open to everybody not just service industry! We’ll have a Flair ‘N’ Funk Cocktail bar inside the ball room, as well as much, much more.

“So grab your gowns and suits and your masks and we’ll see you there.”
