GOLF fever is well and truly in the air in Southport and places are being snapped up for Community Link Foundation’s annual golf day.
There are places still available though but be quick!
The event is being held at the wonderful links course, Southport and Ainsdale Golf Club, for the third year.
Sponsored by the Cintra Corporation, the golf day will be held on Thursday, May 4 and is open to teams and individuals.
Community Link Foundation would love to hear from men and women who would like to join the event and have a great day while raising money for the charity.
The event will start at 12pm with coffee and bacon rolls in the clubhouse.
This will be followed by an instruction clinic on the range by S&A’s pro golfer, Jim Payne, between 12.45 - 1.15pm.
Golfers will tee off from 1.30pm.
Will Dexter, Community Link Foundation, board member, said: “This is set to be another fantastic event for CLF and we’re really looking forward to it.
“We’re not surprised to have seen so many early registrations from individuals and companies - it’s looking like it will be the best turnout we’ve had.
“But there’s still room for more people and you don’t need to be a great golfer to take part.
“I’d like to thank all the organisations that support the event including Cintra Corporation and Jim Payne from S&A Golf Club.”
The day will be finished off with a prize presentation and three course evening dinner.
