Garden centre’s Easter fun

-

SPRING is in the air and Dobbies garden centre has some Easter family treats planned.

The centre in Benthams Way, Birkdale, will be holding Easter egg hunts daily until April 17.

Little ones will be challenged to find five brightly coloured eggs hidden around the store – they could be anywhere from the foodhall to the hanging baskets, from the toy department to the indoor plants.

Lucky children who find all five eggs will receive a chocolate bunny treat to take home and enjoy.

This is the perfect activity to keep youngsters entertained while you shop for spring gardening essentials.

Dobbies is also offering Easter Bunny Breakfasts – a four-item hot breakfast, complete with toast and a soft drink, followed by Easter activities, hosted by Dobbies’ Easter Bunny before leaving with some Easter chocolate.

Easter Bunny Breakfasts are available at £8.95 per child from April 14 to 17, 9.30–11am and can be booked online.

Throughout the Easter break, in-store horticultural experts will also be on hand to offer hints and tips for the best plants – both indoor and outdoor – to buy this spring, whether you’re looking to add a splash of colour or fragrance to your garden or would like some ideas on the best ways to bring a bit of the natural world into your home.
