Future fashions in focus at gala dinner event

-

GUESTS enjoyed a stylish night of top fashion and great entertainment at the Southport Fashion Weekend gala dinner on Friday night.

The black tie event was held at the Bold Hotel in Lord Street with runway shows presented by Man To Man, also in Lord Street, and long-established Southport firm Hotfrox, which moved into new premises on Eastbank Street earlier this year.

Miss England, Elizabeth Grant, and Miss Southport, Chloe Brown, were among models showing off the latest fashions on the night, with the evening compered by DJ Baz Todd.

Diners enjoyed cocktails, canapes and a three-course meal to start off their evening of fashion and entertainment.

Money on the night was raised for the Community Link Foundation charity.

The gala dinner was the opening event of this year’s Southport Fashion Weekend, which also included the UK Junior Fashion Festival at Southport Pleasureland on Saturday and Southport Fashion Show at the Ramada Plaza Hotel on Sunday.

Hotfrox owner Wendy Freeman said: “Hotfrox was delighted to take part and to be asked to take part to support this very worthy cause!

“We felt so proud of the beautiful models in our gorgeous dresses. Each and every one looked amazing.

“We really enjoyed the evening and would like to thank Lisa Hames of GM Models & Casting Agency for all her support in making it a great event.”
