HISTORIC Meols Hall in Churchtown, Southport, is staging its 17th annual wedding evening next week.

The event takes place on Wednesday, July 5, in the picturesque surroundings of the 400-year-old Tithe Barn on the Meols Hall estate in Churchtown Village.

A spokesman for Meols Hall said: “We have an interesting selection of wedding exhibitors who will be available to advise you on all your requirements for that special day.

“Bar facilities and a hog roast will be available.

“Why not spend a pleasant summer evening sipping chilled wine sitting in our traditional cobbled Tithe Barn courtyard and plan your wedding in exclusive surroundings?

“If you are rushing from work you can enjoy the hog roast in the courtyard, wine tasting and bar facilities.”

Visitors can enjoy free entrance and free parking.

Meols Hall will also open its doors to the public later this summer.

Admission to the open days will be £4 for adults and £1 for children.
