When dinosaurs came to town...
STEP back in time with the kids and see life-sized dinosaurs up close this summer. Jurassic Kingdom is a spectacular outdoor dinosaur experience aimed at family audiences, with over 30 impressive installations of animated dinosaurs with electronic moving parts.
See diplodocus heads poking 16m above the ground, among the tree canopy, as triceratops escort their young through the bushes beneath.
Hear the ear-piercing screeches of the pterosaurus from the skies above and be wary of the spitting defence of the pachycephalousaurus, in case he lurks around the next corner.
And don’t miss the most famous dinosaur of them all – tyrannosaurus rex – standing 18 metres from head to tail.
Animatronics magic means arms move up and down, tails sway from side to side, heads move up and down, eyes blink and jaws open wide, with roaring sound effects adding to the fun.
It makes for a truly awesome educational and entertaining Jurassic experience!
This is the first outdoor dinosaur experience of its kind in the UK and a truly entertaining and educational experience for children of all ages.
Visitors will explore the gardens and parklands and uncover epic life-sized replica dinosaurs.
Children will be in awe of these animatronic dinosaurs as they blend into the paths, ponds, gardens, woodlands and greenery of the park.
Younger visitors will be encouraged to pick up their brushes and become budding archeologists in the excavation scene, where a T-Rex skeleton lurks just beneath the surface, waiting to be discovered.
But beware the roaming flesheating dinosaurs, which may pounce on unsuspecting victims from amongst the trees and bushes...
