Push the boat out for a day of fam­ily fun

THERE will be fun for all the fam­ily with the lifeboat crew at Lytham St Annes this Sun­day.

Lifeboat Fam­ily Fun Day at the Boathouse on South Prom­e­nade, will be opened by the mayor, Cllr John Sin­gle­ton, with Collin Bal­lard, the town crier at 11am.

This will be the last time the Mersey class lifeboat Her Majesty the Queen will be avail­able for a guided tour be­fore she is re­placed early next year.

This will also be the first time the new in­shore lifeboat Moam will be on dis­play since she ar­rived last Septem­ber.

Chil­dren will be en­ter­tained by Nicky Flash with his magic show as well as a bouncy games.

There will be a pop-up café with tea, cakes and bar­be­cue. cas­tle and

Live mu­sic will be pro­vided by Lytham St Annes Shanty Crew, Drift­wood, Is­abel Howitt, Bethany Har­ri­son, Ban­dit and Re­peater

Zumba Suzy and her zumba group along with the Karen Hunter Dancers will be there to get peo­ple up and mov­ing.

There will also be lots of kites as the St Annes In­ter­na­tional Kite Fes­ti­val takes off and plenty of games for the young and not so young to keep ev­ery­one busy and en­ter­tained.

The Saxon Archers and HM Coast­guard will be giv­ing demon­stra­tions too .

o alongG to the Lifeboat House on South Prom­e­nade, next to the swim­ming baths, on Sun­day, Septem­ber 3 to join the fun and help the RNLI raise the funds for the new Shan­non class Lifeboat com­ing to Lytham St Annes early next year.
