Milton Jones in arena out there

-

MILTON Jones Is Out There. No, really out there, and that’s not just because of his flamboyant taste in shirts.

Following on from his hugely successful 2015 tour Milton Jones And The Temple Of Daft, which consisted of 170 dates around the UK playing to more than 100,000 people, the one-liner king has announced a brand new tour – Milton Jones Is Out There – for 2017.

The show is his manifesto of nonsense, taking a philosophical look at his life so far and his thoughts on giving this all up to seek the highest office in the land – but how do you get a desk and a swivel chair up a mountain?

With Milton running for Prime Minister, he poses the question: can we really do worse than the politicians we already have? Yes, we can. We’ll see Milton holding up the mirror of truth to society, and he can see right through it, which probably means it’s just a window.

He’ll also be putting his foot down and lifting the lid on the media’s pedal bin of lies and scaling the heights of fashion, at the risk of falling into a terrible cravat.

Packed full of hilarious and expertly crafted puns, this show is a must for the whole family.

Milton says: “I’m excited to be back ‘ out there’ on the road and discussing my life so far – the ups, the downs and why buying my own seesaw was the best decision I ever made.”

A regular panelist on Mock The Week (BBC Two) and with 10 of his own radio series for BBC Radio 4, including most recent commission Thanks A Lot Milton Jones!, Milton has also recently appeared on Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled (Dave), Live at the Apollo (BBC Two) and Live at the Palladium (ITV).

Milton Jones Is Out There comes to the ECHO arena, Liverpool, on Sunday, October 1.

Tickets cost £29.50 plus £2.55 fulfilment fee per order and are available from www. echoarena.com or by calling 0844 8000400.
