Comic Con tickets to be won

MAKEITWORKSHOP in Southport has an exciting competition for all Comic Con fans.

North West Comic Cons is giving the shop wristbands for six lucky fans to the Leigh and Southport Comic Con events.

This will be the first Comic Con to take place in Leigh and will include classic arcade games, film and TV props and opportunities to have photographs taken with the famous guests.

Dr Who stars John Leeson, Rosie Jane and Jon Davey will be among the famous faces at the Comic Con at Leigh Leisure Centre on Saturday, November 25.

The Southport Comic Con will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Southport Theatre And Convention Centre, with Sylvester McCoy, Brian Wheeler, Sandeep Mohan and Norman Lovett as special guests.

Both events will be fun for young and old alike, the team at MakeItWorkshop are going to be giving away four tickets for the Leigh event and two for Southport.

All you have to do is go to to MakeItWorkShop CIC, put your name, email and contact number on a slip of paper and post it in the free prize draw box.

The draw will take place on Friday, October 27 for the four Leigh Comic Con tickets and on Friday, December 1 for the two Southport Comic Con tickets. Both draws will take place in the shop in Cambridge Walks.

So get yourself down there and submit your entry and you could be one of the lucky winners!

The MakeItWorkshop is in Cambridge Walks, Cambridge Arcade. It is a not-for-profit social enterprise run by volunteers.

The company runs four shops in Cambridge Walks and most of the items for sale are donated.
