Children’s home grateful for festive parade backing

-

STAFF and children of Springbrook Children’s Home have sent their thanks to the organisers, supporters and participants of the Christmas Parade.

This year, through the hard work and dedication of Adam Brown and his father Charlie – original cruisers – the children at Springbrook have benefited from two toy runs.

All of these events have been well attended.

The staff at Springbrook distributed all of these gifts to the families that use the service.

And thanks to the overwhelming amount of gifts received this year, presents have also been donated to the Town Hall gift appeal, Homestart (Southport & Formby) and another children’s home in the area.

Staff from Springbrook also extended their gratitude to the residents of Pinfold Lane, Ainsdale, for their patience over the noise and congestion, Trevor White of Pinfold Scout Hut for the use of the hall, Arriva for its co-operation diverting buses and the DJ who played for the children’s party and oversaw the party games.

The staff and children of Springbrook Children’s Home also sent their thanks.

Groups they wish to thank are: The Bike Marshalls, W&M Thompson, Chris Shaw and the Hesketh Round Table, Vans with lights, Trucks with Lights, Scotch Piper Classics, Supercars of the North West, Bumblebee, M & D Travel, The Hulk, Babyballet, Triviso Ice Cream Vans, The Bathstore Company, LFC Bus, Jack in the box Party Crew, The Dance Place 2, Miss Lancashire, Super Horse, I’m Dreaming Of A White Christmas float, Santa’s Workshop float, and so many others who gave up their time.
