Claire paves way to awards double

ASOUTHPORT landscape design and constructi­on business has been recognised with two prestigiou­s awards.

Muddy Boots, which was founded in 2000, has won two Brett Approved Installer (BAI) Awards, taking the top prize of National Installer of the Year for 2017 while also winning Regional Installer of the Year for the North.

The annual event is held by paving and landscapin­g product manufactur­er Brett Landscapin­g. The awards celebrate the achievemen­ts of paving contractor­s w who are m members of th the BAI s scheme.

The ceremony took place in Gloucester­shire, with a record number of entrants submitting portfolios for assessment by an independen­t judging panel of landscapin­g specialist­s.

The panel members evaluated a selection of portfolios for the different award categories and agreed that they were truly blown away by the standard of work presented this year.

Muddy Boots has built up its business around Merseyside, Lancashire and Cheshire with its finely crafted and unique gardens for customers.

The firm’s owner, Claire Skidmore, said: “We are delighted to have won Brett’s National Installer of the Year and Regional Installer for North region awards.

“I was gobsmacked when we won as we are such a small company – I thought I was dreaming.

“It really is a fantastic achievemen­t and I am so grateful for the support from Brett over the years.”

Calvin Jackson, the BAI scheme manager at Brett Landscapin­g said that Muddy Boots won thanks to its consistent high standard of work, profession­alism and customer service.
